With a general election on the horizon this year, we know that many parishes and groups want to consider the issues and engage their communities in an informed way.
They want to use this opportunity to apply the principles of Catholic Social Teaching to promote justice, peace and human dignity before and during the election campaign, and to lay the foundations for engagement with MPs after the general election too.
We also know that many Catholic, or faith-based, organisations are producing excellent materials, running training, encouraging reflection and opening up conversations.
Over the coming weeks, we will be highlighting the resources available to parishes, groups and individuals and adding some of our own.
We are also opening up a speakers’ list to help you get in touch with expert speakers, both in-person and online, to equip and empower you and your parish to engage with general election issues from a Catholic perspective.
Stay in touch with us by email for updates about the latest general election resources or email us to let us about any general elections resources you would like us to highlight.
